I will have a coronary angiogram next week. Anyone have any comments before I go under the knife? I’m scared.

    Hi Mary,

There are a few things you should know about your doctor before any procedure.
    1. Make sure you are comfortable with him/her (MOST IMPORTANT!)
    2. Ask how many coronary angiograms they have performed
    3. Ask about the number of complications they have had
    4. Ask if they will be able to ‘fix’ any blockages during the same procedure, or will you need a repeat procedure to have another doctor ‘fix’ the blockage

There are many other things you may want to know, but these are basic questions that should be asked prior to any coronary angiogram. Many other questions depends on your specific circumstance.

Hope this helps, and thanks for visiting.
